Surgery
Top-of-the-range Anthos treatment centres offer dental surgeons the chance to personalise their units by incorporating devices and instruments suitable for oral surgery and implantology.
Brushless micromotor and peristaltic pump
The i-MMs micromotor and the peristaltic pump built into the dentist’s module are 2 of the devices conceived for dentists practising oral surgery. Managed by the unit’s software and via the colour control panel, the dentist can check and adjust operating parameters at any time during treatment.
Upholstery with surgical padding and the orbital headrest
During long treatment sessions, as may often be required for implant site preparation or other surgical treatment, it is crucial to be able to ensure maximum comfort for the patient.
Total control at all times
Thanks to the unit’s electronics and the TFT display, the dentist is able to manage, regulate and constantly control the parameters of all intergated instruments, thus benefitting from the top performance levels available on Anthos systems.
Precision control of i-MMs micromotor functions. New interactive electronics ensure maximised performance whatever the treatment circumstances: surgery, endodontics or conservative dentistry. In Power mode the user can control speed, torque (expressed in Ncm), operate the peristaltic pump and control its delivery rate.
Surgical quality padding provides proper support for patients of all builds and ensures maximum comfort; this is particularly appreciated during prolonged treatment sessions. A comfortable, relaxed patient is a plus whatever the working situation.
Of course, Anthos also works toward offering maximum comfort for the dental surgeon with tried and tested solutions that have been improved over the years.
- the intelligent shaping of the patient chair between the backrest and the seat gives both dentist and assistant plenty of room to work comfortably
- by pressing a tiny button on its underside, the pneumatic orbital headrest can be positioned accurately and effortlessly
- the ergonomic stool has been developed also with an eye to hygiene; to adjust it, the dentist operates the levers with his wrists, thus avoiding any finger contact
Incorporated on the dentist’s module, the peristaltic pump option* is instantly available for oral surgery and implantation operations with use of the i-MMs induction micromotor.
