Flushing
The FLUSHING function allows the water left in the tubing to be changed. Dental units featuring the BIOSTER system also have the FLUSHING function. FLUSHING cannot be defined as disinfection; it is, rather, a simple replacement of the water from the mains supply. This function is normally used before starting the day’s work.
In the case of Classe R7 units, the FLUSHING function is integrated regardless of the BIOSTER system which is not fitted on this equipment.
Beyond simply replacing the water present in the tubing, when used in conjunction with SHS, the independent water feed available on Classe R7, subsequent manual disinfection cycles will be facilitated and can be carried out in less time than is normally required.
By using the liquid present in the independent feed bottle, the dental unit tubing can be filled in semi-automatic mode, simultaneously on all instruments. Depending on what is contained in the bottle, just water or disinfectant, the resulting effect will either a simple rinse or a quick disinfection.
